100% Volunteer Driven, We Offer FREE Spay/Neuter to Pit Bulls in the Greater Cincinnati Area

Did you know that only 1 in 100 pit bulls finds a home to call their own?

One female dog and her offspring can produce 7,776 puppies in just four years. When unwanted, these dogs face a horrible future. Most will end up in overcrowded county shelters, where over 80% of the dog population is a pit bull mix. If they’re not adopted, they will be euthanized. They become part of a staggering 3-4 million dogs euthanized in America every year, with over 1 million of these dogs being pit bulls.

90% of our appointments are at UCAN Low Cost Spay Neuter Clinic, 2830 Colerain Avenue. Drop off is 8 a.m. Pick up is 3 p.m. No food after 10 p.m. night before surgery. The remainder of our appointments are scheduled at League for Animal Welfare 4193 Taylor Road Batavia, Ohio. Drop off is 7:30 a.m. Pick up is 4 p.m. No food after midnight the night before.

How much is surgery?

Neuter (male) is $90. Spay (female) is $110. We are offering services for FREE as long as we have funds. If you can afford to contribute towards surgery, we greatly appreciate it as it will allow us to help more people and their pitties.

Does my dog need to be vaccinated for rabies?

Every dog is required to have a rabies vaccination. If you have a rabies certificate (tag is not sufficient proof) please bring a copy with you or you will be required to get a rabies vaccination for $10.

How old do my Puppies need to be?

Puppies must be a minimum of 8 weeks old and 3 lbs. Prefer to wait until they are 4 months old, but exceptions can be made.

Have a litter of puppies?

If you have a litter of puppies, please reach out as soon as possible so we can get your parents and litter on the schedule to be spay/neutered. One unspayed female and her litter can add up to 67,000 dogs in 6 years. Pitbulls are the most overbred and most euthanized breed in our country. Feel free to check any local shelter as 80% are Pitbull’s that were once puppies someone loved.
